Deadline to submit proof in poll rigging commission expires at noon

ISLAMABAD: The deadline to submit proof in the judicial commission formed to probe alleged rigging during the 2013 general election will expire at noon today (Saturday).
According to sources the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has changed its legal team. Makhdoom Ali Khan and Khawaja Harris are no longer part of the PML-N legal team due to personal reasons.
During its third hearing on Thursday, the commission had also issued notices to the ruling PML-N and MQM with the direction to file their replies, if they so desired, in response to the allegations of rigging leveled against them by the PTI and JI by April 25 till 12 noon. It is expected the Shahid Hamid will submit the reply of the PML-N's behalf.
The next hearing of the judicial commission will be held on April 27.
